Senior Software Engineer – Data Intelligence Platform

About the Role:
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Big Data, and Hadoop ecosystem to join our Data Intelligence Platform team.
You will play a key role in designing and building scalable, high-performance data processing systems that power enterprise analytics, AI, and domain-driven intelligence solutions – especially for BFSI and enterprise customers.
This is a hands-on engineering role requiring strong backend architecture capability, distributed systems experience, and data engineering expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain microservices using Spring Boot
- Optimize large-scale data processing and performance tuning
- Work on batch and real-time data processing frameworks
- Design RESTful APIs and enterprise-grade backend systems
- Implement data security, governance, and access control best practices
- Collaborate with Product, Data Science, and DevOps teams
- Contribute to architecture decisions and mentor junior engineers
- Ensure code quality through reviews, testing, and CI/CD practices
Technical Skills Required
Core Skills
- Strong Java expertise (3+ years)
- Spring Boot & Microservices Architecture
- REST API design & development
- Strong understanding of multithreading & concurrency
Database & Storage
- SQL (PostgreSQL / MySQL)
- NoSQL (MongoDB / Cassandra preferred)
- Data modeling & schema design
Cloud & DevOps (Preferred)
- AWS / Azure / GCP exposure
- Docker & Kubernetes
- CI/CD pipelines

Nice to Have
- Experience building Data Intelligence / Analytics Platforms
- Exposure to BFSI domain data
- Knowledge of data governance frameworks
- Experience with AI/ML integration pipelines
- Experience with ELK stack or observability tools
Education
- Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
